Fantom Projects

As a visual designer and motion graphics artist at Fantom, my responsibilities are to create marketing materials with a heavy focus on integrating animation and storytelling into the Fantom brand narrative. I took charge of sculpting the full Fantom Sonic marketing launch visual creative and took initial brainstorming/ideas all the way through to polished motion graphics deliverables.

My work spills over from graphic design into motion graphics, sound design, video editing and 3d compilation utilising a number of high end software solutions including Blender, C4D and Unreal Engine and the complete Adobe Creative suite.

stakefish Projects

As a graphic designer and motion graphics artist at stakefish, my responsibilities were to create marketing materials to be used across a wide number of channels and paid media. From iterating an idea from conception and storyboarding it out through to version conception and final delivery of the finished project, my role was to deliver high impact graphic and motion graphic solutions to bolster and grow the stakefish brand and identity. Static graphic design, and video editing but above all motion graphics are where my strength lies and I’m happiest getting fully stuck into a project and learning new systems, workflows and software. Currently Unreal Engine, Blender and C4D.


In parallel to creating and designing custom marketing materials I spearheaded our documentation within the marketing department, building out a full Notion Hub including a complete onboarding centre for new employees covering a breakdown of all software we currently use and a full resource directory showcasing our full design and branding guidelines, task allocation and tracking and a design resource centre housing some amazing asset libraries and software for all marketing needs from SEO to content writing and everything in-between.

In tandem to building out the Notion Marketing hub, I also pioneered moving our stakefish blog from Medium and bringing it in-house and directly onto our site using Ghost, a highly versatile and powerful publishing platform. This hugely increased our SEO ranking and in turn removed the need to click through from Medium to then explore our staking products as well as being able to send tailored and customisable newsletters to our retail, institutional or metaverse orientated subscribers.

The Sandbox 

Gaming in the Decentralized Metaverse

The Sandbox is a virtual world where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences. As the lead for the project at stakefish I was responsible for the design and playability of our 3 Hubs and 3 Experiences within The Sandbox alongside a 3rd party company. During this time I successfully built our metaverse footprint with a host of competitions and nurtured relationships with influential builders and streamers to promote our Sandbox experience.

Preno 

Zoom Diaries Project

Preno, the No.1 Kiwi Hotel Property Management Software approached Pixel Pulse with an idea to utalise a number of their client/customer zoom calls and animate them into a meaningful marketing campaign highlighting the ways customers have pivoted and addressed positive solutions to the huge change in the hospitality and tourism industry. The Zoom Diaries Project was born.

Project Munakata 

UNESCO Funded Documentary shoot built around the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. (Post Production undertaken remotely)

11 days on location in Fukuoka, Japan with an amazing amount of diversity in filming locations, content and planning. Think Samurai, Sake, Sports, Street Food and Shrines and then throw into the mix the Rugby World Cup 2019 all happening around us and you will get an insight into the episode. Pixel Pulse undertook the full hiring of the 11 person media team plus budgeting requirements for the project as well as organising the full logistics of getting the team to Japan and our shooting itinerary while there and both post production on the footage and distribution of the finished documentary to broadcast television.

 
 

Local Heroes TV Show (Pilot) 

Local Heroes identifies a uniquely skilled person in the APAC region who is pushing the boundaries of their chosen sport in their local community.

Led by presenter & professional sports personality Marcus John, Local Heroes engages with each country it travels to through sporting passions. Giving audiences a deeper insight into the lifestyles, people and cultures of each new place it finds itself in. It was filmed on location in Vietnam and pixel pulse undertook the complete production for this project from planning through to delivery.

Binh is one of Vietnam's top snowboarders, pioneering a push to boost winter sports in Southeast Asia where snowfall is virtually unheard of. But it's been an uphill battle for athletes like him facing funding shortfalls, lack of public interest and few training facilities, namely snowy mountains.
